Graciela Tarchini

Graciela Tarchini se graduó en las carreras de Piano, Armonía, Contrapunto y Composición en la Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Santa Fe, Argentina. Posteriomente, como becaria del Instituto de Cultura Hispánica viaja a Europa y luego a México (UNAM) donde realiza cursos de perfeccionamiento. Profesora universitaria durante treinta años, se desempeñó en la Universidad Nacional del Litoral y en la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Ha sido convocada por estas Universidades, Conservatorios y Collegium Musicum de Buenos Aires para reformular planes y programas de estudio y dar cursos y conferencias sobre sus especialidades: Audioperceptiva, Análisis Musical y Composición. Paralelamente a su vasta labor pedagógica ha llevado adelante su carrera de compositora. Sus obras se han estrenado, grabado y publicado en Argentina, Brasil, Francia, Hungría, Estados Unidos y Reino Unido…
Graciela Tarchini graduated in the careers of Piano, Harmony, Counterpoint and Composition from the National University of el Litoral, Santa Fe, Argentina. Later, as a postgraduate fellow from the Institute of Hispanic Culture, she traveled to Europe and then to Mexico (UNAM), where she completed postgraduate courses. University professor for thirty years, she has worked at the National University of el Litoral and the University of Buenos Aires. These Universities, as well as other organizations, such as Musical Schools and the Collegium Musicum of Buenos Aires, have invited her to redesign their syllabi and study programs, as well as inviting her to give courses and lectures on her areas of expertise: Audio-perception, Musical Analysis and Composition. Carla Vazzana

Realizó sus estudios musicales en el Instituto Municipal de Música de Avellaneda y en la Universidad Nacional de las Artes, graduándose como Licenciada en Artes Musicales con orientación en piano.

Carla Vazzana studied music at the Municipal Music Institute of Avellaneda and at the National University of the Arts, graduating as a Bachelor of Musical Arts with piano orientation. She trained under pianists Antonio De Raco and Agustina Herrera. She studied composition, musical analysis and audio-perception with Graciela Tarchini.
She developed postgraduate studies in Germany with Paul Trein in the «Sommerakademie fur Klavier und Kammermusik», in Konz (2011 and 2015), and with Günter Ludwig in the «Mattheiser Sommer-Akademie», in Bad Sobernheim (2015), in which she won a full scholarship.
Andrés Buhar

Andrés Buhar es pianista y compositor. Estudió piano con Inés Gómez Carrillo, Carmen Scalcione y Susana Kasakoff, análisis musical con Graciela Tarchini y composición con Guillermo Graetzer, Virtú Maragno y Marcelo Delgado. En 2010 obtuvo el Premio Fundación Cultural Patagonia de Composición otorgado por un jurado compuesto por Ángel Frette. Sus obras fueron estrenadas en la Fundación OSDE y en el Centro Cultural Conti.
Andrés Buhar is a pianist and composer. He has studied piano with Inés Gómez Carrillo, Carmen Scalcione and Susana Kasakoff, musical analysis with Graciela Tarchini and composition with Guillermo Graetzer, Virtú Maragno and Marcelo Delgado. In 2010, he won the Patagonia Cultural Foundation Award for Composition, awarded by a jury integrated by Ángel Frette. His works were premiered at the OSDE Foundation and the Conti Cultural Center.
Oscar Vazquez Paz

Oscar Vazquez Paz es guitarrista y docente. Licenciado en Artes Musicales (UNA, 2015) y Profesor Superior de Guitarra (Conservatorio Nacional, 1990), se formó con Lucio Nuñez, Miguel Girollet, Abel Carlevaro y Eduardo Isaac. Estudió Audioperceptiva y Análisis Musical con Graciela Tarchini.

Oscar Vazquez Paz is a guitarist and teacher. Bachelor of Musical Arts (National University of the Arts, Argentine, 2015) and Professor of Guitar (National Conservatory, 1990), he has studied with Lucio Nuñez, Miguel Girollet, Abel Carlevaro and Eduardo Isaac. He has studied Audio-perception and Musical Analysis with Graciela Tarchini.
He has received the Musical Promotions Award of Buenos Aires in 1983, the Abel Carlevaro International Competition Award in 1986, and he was a Finalist of the Manuel Ramirez International Competition (Spain, 1986). He has received scholarships for the IX International Course of Santiago de Compostela (Spain, 1986), the International Seminar of Las Leñas (1988/89), and the Bariloche Musical Camping (1990).
In 2001, he recorded an album for the French label MANDALA (Guitare Plus vol.39), as part of a Guitar Duo from the University of Buenos Aires. In 2003, some of this material was re-edited by the same label: Guitar Anthology (along with Pablo Marquez, Roberto Aussel, etc).
Oscar Castro

Integrante fundador de la Orquesta de Cámara y Sinfónica del Chaco, donde se desempeñó como primer clarinete y subdirector. Egresado de la Universidad Nacional del Litoral, donde estudió canto, clarinete, piano, violín, composición y dirección coral. Integró el Coro Polifónico de Santa Fe. Director fundador de los coros: Universidad del Litoral, Comunal de Recreo y Juvenil de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Dirigió además el Coro Juvenil del Collegium Musicum…
Oscar Castro was a founding member of the Chamber Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra of the Chaco, where he has performed as first clarinet and assistant conductor. He graduated from the National University of the Litoral, where he studied singing, clarinet, piano, violin, composition and choral conducting.
He was a member of the Polyphonic Choir of Santa Fe.
He was founding conductor of the choirs: Universidad del Litoral (Argentina), Comunal de Recreo (Santa Fe, Argentina) and Youth Choir of the City of Buenos Aires.
He has also conducted the Youth Choir of the Collegium Musicum, the Israeli- Argentine Cultural Exchange Choir and the Bach Choir of Buenos Aires.
He studied orchestral conducting with Guillermo Bonet, Mario Benzeckry and Guillermo Scarabino.
At the Bach International Academy (Stuttgart – Germany) he studied choral and orchestral conducting with Helmuth Rilling.
Rodolfo Biekofsky

Rodolfo Biekofsky nació en Argentina, pero hace muchos años reside en Londres. Desde muy pequeño estudió música en el Collegium Musicum de Buenos Aires. Siendo adolescente estudia canto con Oscar Castro y participa en numerosos coros. Asimismo toma cursos de Historia de la Música con Elena Chanampa. Su formación musical la realiza con Graciela Tarchini, con quien estudia por casi veinte años. Con ella toma clases de Improvisación, Audioperceptiva, Repertorio, Armonía, Contrapunto, Composición y Análisis Musical en forma individual y grupal.
Se interesa por el cine y vincula sus conocimientos musicales con esta disciplina. Ha trabajado como director, productor, editor y musicalizador de numerosos filmes. Algunos de ellos son: Black Canvas (2009), The Horse Sits in the Tree (2011) y Alone in the Wild (2012).
Siendo bilingüe inglés-castellano y con dominio del francés, italiano y portugués, también se dedica a la traducción científica y general, para editoriales como Paidós. Rodolfo comparte su actividad artística con una brillante carrera científica. Se doctoró en Química por la Universidad de Buenos Aires en 1992. Ganó numerosas becas: la Fullbright Comission Scholarship, la Marie Curie Fellowship y la Wellcome Trust Travelling Research….
Rodolfo Biekofsky was born in Argentina, and he presently lives in London since many years. From a very young age he studied music at the Collegium Musicum in Buenos Aires. As a teenager, he studied singing with Oscar Castro and has participated in numerous choirs. He also has taken courses in History of Music with Elena Chanampa. His musical training was done with Graciela Tarchini, with whom he studied for almost twenty years. With her, he has taken classes in Improvisation, Audio-perception, Repertoire, Harmony, Counterpoint, Composition and Musical Analysis in individual and group classes.
He is interested in cinema and links his musical knowledge with this discipline. He has worked as a director, producer, editor and musician of numerous films. Some of them are: Black Canvas (2009), The Horse Sits in the Tree (2011) and Alone in the Wild (2012).
Being bilingual in English and Spanish – and fluent in French, Italian and Portuguese – he also works as a scientific translator and editor, and as a general translator for publishers such as Paidós. Rodolfo shares his artistic activity with a brilliant scientific career. He received his doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Buenos Aires in 1992. He won numerous scholarships: the Fullbright Commission Scholarship, the Marie Curie Fellowship and the Wellcome Trust Traveling Research Fellowship, among others. In London, he has worked as a researcher for the National Institute for Medical Research (MRC).
He is currently the CEO of Moebius Research LTD. Since 1993, he practices zen meditation. In February 2010 he was ordained a Zen monk in the temple of Shobogenji (Capilla del Monte, Cordoba) with Master Kosen Thibaut, disciple of Master Taisen Deshimaru.
